The Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge, 730,000 acres, was established in 1980 to conserve and manage habitat critical to migratory and resident wildlife for the benefit of present and future generations. Located along the Alaska Highway, visitors may enjoy overlook areas and the visitor's center.
