The movement of product across Alaska's vast state is executed mainly by truck and plane, and in some areas trains. However, getting large supplies to the arctic coast via the Dalton highway is mainly done via semi tractor trailers. Loaded with supplies these truckers deal with the tenuous winter conditions on the haul road from Fairbanks to Deadhorse. The images here are mainly from that region, in all seasons.
