Palmer
Palmer is located about one hour north of Alaska's largest city of Anchorage. Known for its agricultural history, Palmer is situated in the Matanuska Susitna Valley. It also hosts the Alaska State Fair at the local fairgrounds. It is flanked to the south by the impressive Chugach Mountains that serve as a scenic backdrop.
